Europe’s biggest motorsport show, Autosport International, is set to star the Formula E demonstration car at its 2015 event at the NEC Birmingham.

Formula E’s demonstration  Spark-Renault SRT_01E, in its traditional silver and black Qualcomm livery, will feature on the main Autosport stage at the international trade show.

Previous cars to receive a coveted place of honour on the central Autosport stage include the Le Mans-winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro, the Bentley Continental GT3 and the MG KX Momentum Racing MG6.

The motorsport exhibition receives over 200,000 visitors annually and features displays and stands from automakers, racing teams and equipment manufacturers, as well as live action racing shows.

“On the Autosport stand we like to celebrate the latest innovations in motor racing, so we are delighted to have the first all-electric single-seater on display”, explained Autosport editor Edd Straw.

“At a time when noise has been a major talking point in motorsport, Formula E has shown that quiet cars can provide exciting racing too.”

The Autosport International show will be held from January 8-11. Tickets can be purchased here.
