It has been announced that TrulliGP, the new Formula E team launched by former Formula One driver Jarno Trulli, will be run and managed by the British Super Nova racing team, famous for its success in other single-seater categories.
TrulliGP’s Spark-Renault SRT_01Es will be run by the Norfolk-based team, which earlier enjoyed success in Formula 3000 in the 1990s and 2000s.
The Formula 3000 champions, frontrunners in GP2 prior to leaving the series in 2011, have also triumphed in the Auto GP series, winning the drivers’ title in the 2012-2013 season.
Claudio Berro, who was formerly involved in Lotus, Maserati and Ferrari motorsport programmes, is no longer a member of the Super Nova team and will not be involved with TrulliGP.
